Bears Varsity Men's Soccer Shuts Out Providence Christian and North Springs

Cambridge comfortably won over Providence Christian 4-0 Monday, March 10th.

Two of those goals were scored by sophomore, MAN of the MATCH, Brett Stephens. Brett was everywhere he needed to be throughout the game, using his excellent foot skills.

Coach Bryan Wallace was pleased to see his team meeting skill objectives and improving with each game.

Thursday, March 13, was a lucky night as the Bear's defense stopped region opponent, North Springs in a 6-0 win.

Defender Avery Spaulding, who scored one of the goals, was selected MAN of the MATCH for his great hustle and effectiveness in holding North Springs scoreless.

The Bears are now 3-1 in region games.  All three wins are shutouts showing the defensive strength. Shutouts also bode well as potential tie breakers for end of season standings.

Next game is Tuesday, March 18, at Kell.

Go Bears!
