Cambridge Men's Soccer Has Big Win In Second Game of the Season

The Cambridge Varsity Soccer Men's team took to the field in its second game of this year and pulled out a great victory 2-0 against the Patriots, Friday, February 21.

The Bears dominated field position, but despite many goal attempts, the team only converted two goals against Mt. Pisgah.

Varsity Coach Bryan Wallace was pleased overall that his players executed what the team had focused on in practice during the week, such as playing the ball out side and other combinations.  Wallace emphasized the need to work with his players to "finish the play" and get the ball in the net.

Excellent hustle in every play and a gorgeous goal assist earned forward and junior, Garrett Shan the Man of the Match mantle.

Come out and support your Bears, Monday, February 24th as travel right down the road to take on non-region opponent, St. Francis, at 5:55 p.m.

Go Bears!!
