For only the second time in program history, a Cambridge Bear Lacrosse player received National "All American" recognition for his outstanding play during the 2017-2018 season.
Senior Long Stick Midfielder (LSM), Nick Ganem, was named to this prestigious honor, one of only nine players in 6A/7A play selected in the State of Georgia.
In addition to the All-American recognition, Nick was named 1st Team All State in 6A/7A for his play as a LSM. Nick's contributions to the team this year, as a Team Captain and defensive stalwart, where he led the team in ground balls won was a key component to the great season the Bear's lacrosse team achieved.
Fellow Senior Defenseman, Ryan Sadighian, was named to the All State team achieving 3rd Team All- State honors for the 6A/7A division. Ryan's aggressive defense, consistent presence where he was often paired against opponent's top offensive players on the defensive line and overall leadership has served as a needed anchor for the Bears.
We congratulate these two Senior players for their outstanding season and well-deserved honors!
