Seven Goal 2nd Quarter Leads Boys Lacrosse to Victory over North Atlanta, Thursday, April 13th

After a slow 1st Quarter that ended with Bears leading 2-0, Cambridge exploded in the second to score 7 in a row and extended the lead to 9-0.  The Warriors of North Atlanta fought back, but the Bears hung on with a 13-5 non-area victory on Thursday, April 13th.

Senior Austin Walling was dominant at the faceoff X and on groundballs.  Senior Captain Ben Clark had 10 saves in goal for the Bears.

Scoring was balanced once again as 10 different Bears registered either a goal or an assist.  Freshman Zach Shiffman led all scorers with 4 points on 2 goals and 2 assists.  Senior Attackman Zac Lehman had 3 goals.  Freshman Midfield Ian Dexter registered 2 assists.

The Bears now have a record of 10-3.  Cambridge will face Area leader Lambert on Tuesday, April 18th.
