Boys Lacrosse Returns From Spring Break With Victory over Forsyth Central, Tuesday, April 11th

The Bears travelled up to Forsyth Central on Tuesday afternoon, April 11th, to take on the Bulldogs and came home with a 15-1 victory.

Junior Attackman Jake Meyerholt led the early scoring with 3 goals and 1 assist in the first quarter.  The Bears were up 7-0 after one quarter of play and the entire team saw playing time before the first half was through.

The defense was anchored by Juniors Seth Leigh, Jack Lech, Jack Mulroy, and Stephen Phillips for the majority of the game.  They allowed very few shots and only surrendered 1 goal to the Bulldogs.  Junior Goalie Cole Winsness did an outstanding job in extended playing time.

Offensively, 10 different Bears scored goals including Freshman Attackman Chase Dumond who was making his Varsity debut.  Junior Tyler Davis and Senior Will Britain each added 2 assists.

The Bears wrap up the week with a visit from North Atlanta on Thursday and return to Area action next Tuesday against defending state champion, Lambert.
