Boys Varsity Lacrosse Defense Continues to Shine Against McIntosh

For the third consecutive game the Bears defense, led by Senior Captain Goalie Ben Clark (11 Saves) has held their opponent to single digit goals.  After a slow start to the game that went into the 2nd Quarter with the Bears holding a 1-0 advantage, the Bears offense started to roll with a 5 goal outburst in to take a 6-0 halftime lead.

Scoring was led by Junior Attackman Austin Darnell (3 Goals, 2 Assists).  Darnell was the only Bear with multiple goals on the night, but 8 other Cambridge players each chipped in with one goal apiece, leading to an impressive 11-3 victory.  Junior Defenseman Ryan Sadighian, who scored his Varsity goal, while Junior Attackman Tyler Davis earned his first career Varsity point with an assist in the 4th Quarter.

Junior Goalie Cole Winsness relieved Clark and played excellent in the final quarter making 5 saves and only allowing 2 goals.
