On Thursday night February 16th, the Bears Varsity Lacrosse team opened the season with a thrilling game vs. Marist.  Marist had a 10-9 lead with under two minutes to go before Junior Midfielder, Evan Kuykendall tied the score for the Bears. 

Cambridge had a great opportunity to win the game in the last minute, but a crease violation gave the ball back to Marist, who was able to capitalize in the closing seconds and leave Bear Stadium with an 11-10 victory. 

Senior Midfielders and Captains, Max Fleming and Jack Sadighian led the way for the Bears with two goals each.  Junior Jack Oldham and Freshman Ian Dexter each scored their first career Varsity goals. 

The Bears return to action on Tuesday 2/21 for a non-area contest against Decatur.  The action will take place at 7:30pm in Bear Stadium.
