The Cambridge Boys JV lacrosse team shut out region rival Holy Innocents on Saturday, March 21 by a score of 10-0.
The defense held Holy Innocents to only 4 shots on goal, all stopped by sophomore goalie Andrew Horton and Freshman Cole Winsness.
The offense was led by the attackmen Austin Darnell with a 3 goal hat-trick, Jack Oldham with 2 goals, and Josh Leadingham and Jake Meyerholt with 1 goal each. The Midfielders contributed with 1 goal each from Blake Kollin, Stephen Phillips and Zach Furr. Jake Meyerholt also contributed with 3 assists plus 1 each from Jack Oldham, Brendan Pellegrino, Jack Gruca, Tyler Wald and Jack Lech.
Come out to Cambridge and cheer the 5-2-1 JV Bears team against 6A West Forsyth JV this Saturday, March 28 at 11:00am, followed by the Varsity game at 12:30pm.
