Cambridge Bears Varsity Boys' Lacrosse Shuts Out Riverside Military Academy 19-0

The Cambridge Bears Varsity Boys' Lacrosse team scored a shut out win against Riverside Military Academy 19-0, Tuesday, March 17th, at Bears Stadium.  

Cambridge faced minimal challenge from Riverside's young lacrosse program and many Bears players saw their first varsity goals and many minutes on the field.  

First varsity goals were scored by Croix Martini, Jake Maxam, Eric Cizek, Nick Burgo, Nick Ganem, Kevin Schukle and Britt Spurka.  Additional goals scored by Zac Lehman, Griffin Chambers, Miles Copeland, Jack Sadighian, Chase Vassal, and Dylan Gabriel.  Assists on these goals were shared by Chambers, Leddy, Gabriel, Maxam, C. Martini and Schukle.  

Jack Lundstrom led the team on ground balls for this game and other Bears with multiple ground balls were Austin Walling, Raleigh Cassada, Nic Martini and Nick Ganem.  

Defensively, the Bears allowed only four shots on goal and all were saved by goalie Ben Clark, assisted by the defense of Eric Drucker, Cassada and Lundstrom.

This win gives the Bears an overall record of 6-1!!  Next up:  Region opponent Holy Innocents Sat 3/21 at Home.
