Cambridge Boy's Lacrosse Remains Undefeated in Region with Win over Riverwood

What a great afternoon of lacrosse in Bear Country on Saturday, May 2nd!

Riverwood came to play, coming out strong against our slow-to-start Bears, winning the first face-offs and scoring first.  The Bears were able to answer with a few goals of our own ending the first half 6-4.

The second half saw the Bears playing a much stronger and more consistent game!  Our defense with Ben Clark in goal was able to force several turnovers, putting the offense under the Bears' control and scoring 4 goals in the 3rd.  Riverwood not able to create an effective offense to score.

The Bears turned it on in the 4th quarter scoring 5 goals to end our regular season play with a big win 15-5.

Goals were scored by several Bears again, including hat tricks by Jameson Wilkins and Miles Copeland.  Additional goals were scored by Carson Smith (2), Zac Lehman, Griffin Chambers, Tyler Werth, Jake Leddy, Alex Sichynsky and Will Britain.

The game saw several unselfish Bears assisting on goals including 5 by Leddy.  Also assisting on goals were Brendan Fahey, Max Fleming, Croix Martini, Chambers, Werth and Smith.

A great ground ball game led by Tate Prezzano, Chase Darnell and Austin Walling also kept the Bears in control!

ON TO THE PLAYOFFS!!  First EVER HOME playoff game Tues 5/5 vs KELL!!
