Cambridge Boy's Varsity Lacrosse Defeat Blessed Trinity 10-6

Cambridge Boy's Varsity Lacrosse sits at the top of the region after a 10-6 win over Blessed Trinity!!

This team is for real, winning their last 10 games!  The Bears took over Blessed Trinity's home field quickly scoring three goals in first quarter while holding BT to zero.  By halftime the Bears were up 5-3.

The Bears were able to stay ahead of BT despite a few untimely penalties, turnovers and lackluster shooting throughout most of the game.  The Bears were able to win the ground ball battle, led by Chase Darnell and Tate Prezzano, which kept the Bears in control of the offense.

Goals on this night were led by Brendan Fahey with 4 and Jake Leddy with 3 and additional goals by Zac Lehman, Dylan Gabriel and Jameson Wilkins.  Jack Sadighian and Jake Leddy assisted on three of those goals.

Our defense, led by Darnell, Prezzano, Balon Compton, and Raleigh Cassada forced 8 takeaways and Aaron Contreras was able to execute several key clears allowing our offense to catch BT off guard.  By the end of the game, Bears won 10-6 heading into spring break!

Another great win by Cambridge Boys Lacrosse!
