Varsity Men's Lacrosse Defeat Hoover, Fall to Fellowship Christian & Milton

The Varsity Men's Lacrosse team lost two tough games in a row, losing to Fellowship Christian Academy 11-6 on Thursday April 17th, and Milton 17-4 on Wednesday April 23rd.

Against the Paladins, the Bears got off to a slow start, falling behind Fellowship through the first three quarters.  The fourth quarter belonged to the Bears, however, who went on a 3-1 scoring run to win the quarter.   Leading scorers for Cambridge were Tyler Werth and Brendan Fahey.  Both Aaron Contreras and Ben Clark saw action in the goal.

The team then traveled to Milton but suffered the tough loss, 17-4.  Scoring for Cambridge were Jamie Wilkins with 2 goals, and Jake Leddy and Tyler Werth with one each.  Ben Clark, Andrew Horton and Aaron Contreras all saw time in the goalie cage.

The Bears then posted a big 14-4 victory over Hoover High School in the Legacy Cup Saturday, April 26th.  The team posted the convincing win by dominating Hoover on both sides of the field.  Cambridge moved the ball well and had eleven different Bears score goals in the game.  Leading scorers for Cambridge were Jake Leddy with 2 goals and 1 assist, and Jaime Wilkins with 2 goals.  Goalie Aaron Contreras and Tate Prezzano led the defense.

The Bears now head to the playoffs to take on Marist on Wednesday May 7th.
