Bears JV Lacrosse Lose to Fellowship Christian 9-2

Bears JV Lacrosse Lose to Fellowship Christian 9-2

The JV Bears fought hard against the Fellowship Christian School Tuesday night under dry but very cold skies.  In the end, Fellowship came out on top, besting the Bears 9-2.

The game started the first quarter with the Paladins coming out strong, scoring 6 out of their 9 goals in the first quarter.  Fellowship was strong on face offs and controlling time of possession, putting the defense on the line.

The CHS defense worked hard against a crisp Paladin offense, and were led by Jack Lundstrom and Chase Darnell.  First time goalie Branch Morley put in a strong debut in the cage, limiting the second wave of Paladins to just 3.

Face offs and clears continued to plague the Bears, although clears improved late in the fourth.  There were many shots on goal taken by a number of Bears, but only two were able to put the ball in the net – Hunter Johnston and Chris Anderson, both off assists by Michael Pellegrino
