Thomas Pettigrew
Year: 12

Committed to Emmanuel College.

Thomas is a Junior at Cambridge High School. He attended Milton High School during the first two years of high school and was a member of JV team both years.

He decided that moving to a new school would be a great experience along with the fact that Coach Vajda would be leading the Varsity Golf Team.

Thomas was born in Nova Scotia, Canada and moved to Alpharetta/Milton in 2004. While in Canada he enjoyed hockey but living on a golf course in Georgia became a great attraction and by the age of 10 he was playing golf. Soon after he started playing US Kids where he won player of the year at the age of 12 and competed several years at their World Junior Tournament and World Teen Tournament at Pinehurst. This was a great experience and gave him exposure to golfers from all over the world. He then developed his competitive game at the Georgia State Park Tour, Georgia PGA, and currently is playing events in the Southeastern Junior Tour.
Thomas won his Junior Club Championship in 2011 in a playoff. He birdied the 17th and 18th hole to tie for the lead then won in the first playoff hole. He was a member of Milton’s JV  Team which won the Regional Tournament in both 2011 and 2012. Both years he tied for the low round of the event.
