David Akin enters his first season as the boys basketball coach at Cambridge High School. Akin recently served as the head coach at Meadowcreek High School and East Jackson High School. He also served as an assistant basketball coach at Parkview High School, Milton High School and Athens Academy. Prior to teaching and coaching at the high school level, he was a part of the women's basketball staff at the University of Georgia under Hall of Fame coach Andy Landers. He was also the head coach of the Gwinnett Majic, a former minor league basketball organization out of Gwinnett County.
