Varsity Boys Come Up Short against Northview Titans 57-45

The Titans came into the Den at Cambridge High School to take on the Bears.  Both teams spent the first three and a half quarters going back and forth with neither team taking control of the game.  The Titans had a 15-13 lead after the first quarters while our Bears took a 28-26 lead into the halftime break.  The 3rd quarter remained close with Northview holding to a slim 38-36 lead.  The 4th quarter was controlled by Northview and proved to be the deciding factor when the Titans outscored the Bears 19-9 in the final 8 minutes of play.  The final score was Northview 57 Cambridge 45.

Cambridge was led in scoring by Jordan Sloter with 16 points, Brawley Thomas added 14 points.  Coach Flemmer praised the efforts of Nithin Balaji by grabbing 12 rebounds. 

The Bears don't have time to look backwards because they will be traveling up to Forsyth Central to take on the Bulldogs on Tuesday, December 4th at 7:30 pm.
