Boy's Varsity Basketball Opens with Loss to South Forsyth 60-43

The Cambridge Bears came out of the gates strong in their first home game and at the end of the first quarter the game was tied at 12 apiece. The Eagles of South Forsyth built a 6 point lead at the half, but the Bears kept fighting and clawed their way back into the game. 26% shooting from the field proved to be too much for the Bears to overcome, and South Forsyth pulled away in the end.

Final score, South Forsyth 60 - Cambridge 43.

Brawley Thomas (Sophomore) led Cambridge with 11 points and 3 steals followed by J.D. White (Freshman) adding 8 points in his season debut with the varsity squad. Neill Christian (Sophomore) hauled in 8 rebounds as he battled all night long with the South Forsyth big men.

The Bears play their first region game at home this Friday, November 30th at 7:30 pm against Northview. Come see our Bears battle the Titans!
