Cambridge GymBears had a fun meet at Bio this past weekend, March 5th, and although our team score was lower than usual, individual scores were good!
All 4 girls who competed beam earned a state qualifying score: Victoria L. (10) got an 8.5, Sarah D. (9) and Anna D. (10) both got an 8.6, and Anjali R. (10) an 8.7! Special shout out to Victoria and Anna who stepped up to compete beam last minute!
On vault we had Anna D. with a beautiful 9.1 and Victoria L. earning her 3rd qualifying score for state of 9.0! Anna D. also earned her 3rd qualifying score on bars with a 9.4! Floor we only had 2 girls, but Anjali and Victoria both did well with an 8.55 and 8.3 respectively. Great job to all!
With only 1 regular season meet left we are looking forward to Buford on 3/19 and hoping to get more girls qualified for state. So far, the following girls have qualified on the events listed:
