Cambridge Gymbears had a great season opener on Friday, January 28th, taking 1st place with a team score of 106.7!! Several of our newcomers competed and it was all around a great meet! Special shoutouts to Lia McSweeney (12) who took 1st on vault (9.5) bars (9.5) floor (9.5) and all around (36.5)! Ellie Beinhower (9) and Anjali Roy (10) tied for 2nd on vault with 9.4 and Victoria Lancaster (10) came in right after with a 9.2!
On bars Ellie Beinhower (9) and Ella Thurman (11) tied for 2nd with an 8.7 and newcomer Sarah Dewey (9) came in 3rd with an 8.1! Beam was tough this meet but Anjali Roy (10) came in 1st with an 8.5, and on floor newcomer Ellie Beinhower (9) came in 2nd with a 9.2!
