The Gym Bears finished in first place at the first meet of the season in Oconee on Saturday, January 30th with an overall team score of 105.45.
The team was strong on vault with freshmen Anjali Roy scoring a 9.2 and Victoria Lancaster scoring a 9.3.
On bars, Anjali had another great performance with a 9.0. Junior, Lia McSweeney, scored an impressive 9.05.
Freshman Talya Krevere came out strong in her first meet as a Gym Bear with an 8.6 on beam.
Anjali and Lia also had great performances on the floor, scoring 9.0 and 9.2 respectively.
Congrats to Anjali and Lia who accomplished their first of 2 meets to qualify for state prelims. Anjali had 35.7 all around and Lia had a 35.35 all around.
