The CHS Varsity Gymnastics team came out strong at the Roswell Meet, Saturday afternoon, March 23rd. They began the day's events on Beam with solid scores coming in from Taylor Harris, Lia McSweeney, Taylor Rech, and Madelyn Mild.
The girls then took flight on the Floor with Mild and Rech leading the way with an 8.85 and 9.55 respectively. The Vault was the team's third and strongest event of the day with all four competitors performing well; Alex Tokos with an 8.1, Mild with a 9.0, McSweeney with a 9.2 and Rech with 9.6! The team rounded the day out on Bars with McSweeney, Mild and Rech's high scores.
The Gym Bears next and last in-season meet will be on Wednesday, April 10th at 5pm at Lovett High School. They are hoping for a solid finish before heading into State Prelims which will be held on Saturday, April 27th.
