The CHS Varsity Gymnastics Team took 2nd place tonight, Thursday, March 21st, with another top score of 104.05 and with a very small roster.
Several teammates were missing for this evening's meet and the team took the Bars as their first event with only 3 competitors.
Emilija Ragaine began the night with a great score of 7.4, senior Jenna Hart brought in a 9.0 and Taylor Rech rounded the event out with a 9.2. All three girls leading the way into the second event on Vault where senior Haley Copeland brought in a score of 8.3, followed by Ragaine with an 8.4, Hart bringing in an 8.55 and Rech topping the night with a 9.6!
After a long wait between events the team regrouped and performed solidly on Beam, accompanied on this event by additional teammate Adeline Woods. The Gym Bears performed last on the Floor for the evening with Allison Rosenbloom leading the way, followed with solid performances by Ragaine, Hart, and Rech.
The CHS Varsity Gym Bears have their next meet this Saturday, 3/23 at 3:30pm at Roswell Rec Center.
