Cambridge Varsity Gymnastics Team continued into their second meet of the season maintaining their 3rd place title against some very stiff competition this past Friday, March 1st at Infinity Gymnastics.
The team opened this past weekend's events on Bars with a high score from Lia McSweeney who reached a 9.25; Jenna Hart and Madelyn Mild both helped the team with additional scores of 8.45 and 8.3 respectively. The team moved onto Beam and Floor with another round of good scores contributed from Hart and Mild alongside teammates Emilija Ragaine and Annalise Stallworth. The Gym Bears then sealed their 3rd place victory on vault with top scores from Hart, Mild and McSweeney who reached scores of a 9.0, 8.9 and 8.7 respectively.
The team took their highest score to date with a total of 104.6.
The Gym Bears compete again this Saturday, 3/9, at Gymnastics Training Center at 2pm.
