Lady Bears Gymnasts Post Highest Event Scores at Westminster Meet, Monday, March 20th

The Cambridge Lady Bears traveled to Westminster on Monday, March 20th to compete in their last regular meet of the season against 6 metro Atlanta teams. Cambridge posted a team score of 93.35 and was once again led by Junior Jenna Hart.    

The team scored their highest event score of the season at Westminster, with a 24.8 on vault and 24.4 on beam.  In addition to Hart, top performances included Noor El-Gazairly on vault, Maggie Cash on bars and beam, and Haley Copeland on floor and beam.

A special congratulations to Jenna Hart on qualifying for the State Preliminary Meet on vault, bars and beam!  The Lady Bears will support Jenna at this meet on Saturday, April 15th at Dunwoody High School.

Coach Chambless is thrilled with the strong season the Cambridge Gymnastics Team had this year. The gymnasts demonstrated a positive attitude, strong performances, and were motivated to do well at every event they participated in. The team was a joy to work with and we are excited for the program to continue to grow as we move in to next year with the continuing success of our program.
