On Tuesday, March 22nd, the Cambridge Gymnastics team competed at Lovett High School. The Bears scored their highest team score of the season and missed qualifying for state by just 1.3 points, finishing 5th of the 9 teams competing.
Caroline Versluis and Rileigh Smith led the team, with Versluis placing 4th All Around and Smith following close behind in 6th place. Versluis also placed 1st on beam and 2nd on bars, while Smith added a tie for 2nd on beam. Other strong performances came from Chloe Lamkin on vault, Allie Cash on beam and Haley Copeland on floor.
Caroline Versluis will compete next in the Georgia State Qualifying Meet on bars and beam April 16th.
