The Cambridge girls gymnastics team competed Monday, March 21st at Westminster, meeting gymnasts from Forsyth Central, Buford, Carrolton, Pope, Westminster and Centennial.  

Cambridge had a strong showing on Monday and improved their team score by over 7 points and just missed qualifying for state.  Of the 7 teams, Cambridge came in 4th place, just 2 points shy of qualifying for state and capturing 3rd place. 

Caroline Versluis lead the team with a 34.6 All Around score.  Other strong performances included Maddie Chaloux and Haley Copeland on Floor, Marina Bertani and Rileigh Smith on Vault, and Jenna Hart and Haley Copeland on Beam.

Cambridge gymnasts compete next on Tuesday, March 22nd at Lovett.
