Coming off a late season bye week, the Bears sit at 3-6 overall with a 3-4 record in region 7AAAAAA. The region standings are as follows:

The Bears offense averages 18 points per game this season. Hogan Dykes has thrown for 1565 yards on the season with a 54% completion, 12 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions. Matthew McCree leads the ground game with 445 yards rushing. Evan Kuykendall contributed 194 yards of his own to the Bear's run game. Ridge Polk continues to shine this season. Despite a quiet last couple of games, Ridge Polk still holds the third spot and fourth spot in the region for receiving yards and touchdowns, respectively. The junior recorded 55 receptions, 865 yards, and 10 touchdowns in the first nine games. Polk also adds 769 total return yards on the year.
The Cambridge defense gives up an average of 22 points per game. Will Covington leads the region with 76 total tackles. Tyler Wald holds the top spot for interceptions, snagging two to this point. Andrew Longo is the sack leader with three sacks. Zach Furr comes in at 47 total tackles, second on the team. The defense continues to improve every week, and the Bears held a high-powered Alpharetta offense to only 14 points last week.
Although Cambridge is currently 4th place in the region standings, the Bears need help to make it to the playoffs. The Bears must win their contest against the North Atlanta Warriors this Friday, November 3rd, and Northview needs a win against Pope.
The Bears head to Grady Stadium with a positive outlook. The game against North Atlanta will kick off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
