Aside from the amazing spirit generated after last week's big win against Pope and this week's High5Sports Team of the Week celebration, the Cambridge Bears have some challenges as they take on rival Northview High School Friday October 4th.
Invaluable wide receiver and safety AJ Campbell will be out with an injury in his knee. Malik McNeil, OL/DL, who had surgery on his knee, is lifting weights and staying as ready as possible but is not scheduled to return until October 11.
The Bears exhibited a considerable amount of depth and in their last game and feel confident they will be competitive against the TItans. Northview's record is 2-2 with a recent close win (34-32) over Riverwood and a previous loss to Pope.
Last year, Northview beat the Bears 62-28 and left the field abruptly at the end of the game. This year will be a more closely contested game, and either team could take the win.
