Bears Look to Break Through against Northview, Friday Oct 5th, 7:30pm at CHS Stadium

The Bears head into tonight's game with great anticipation as one team will get its first win of the season this Friday.  The Bears are home against the 0-4 Northview Titans.  The Titans lost 55-20 to Riverwood last week.  This will be the first sub-region game in the division and should be a close match-up.  Northview has given up more points defensively than Cambridge as teams have scored 203 points against the Titans while the Bears have given up 162.

Also tonight, the Bears will host Feeder Appreciation Night.  Beginning at 5:30 p.m., Cambridge will be serving all 3 feeder teams and coaches a pregame meal in the school cafeteria.  Coach Craig Bennett will be speaking to the younger players about playing football at the high school.  Cambridge Athletic Director Matt Lawless will also be giving the feeder players a tour of the locker room as well as the training room.

At 7:00 p.m., the feeder board members will present a John Deere gator (utility vehicle) to the high school program.  As the Bears take the field, the feeder players are invited to run through the banner with the Varsity team before heading to the stands to sit in a special designated section.

Come early and cheer for your Bears!!!
