Bears Football takes on Pope in 1st Away Contest, Fri. Sept 28th 7:30pm

The Cambridge Bears will travel to Pope High School Friday, September 28th to take on the Greyhounds.

Scoring points will be the main goal as the Bears failed to put any on the board but played well defensively during last week's 20-0 defeat by the Osborne Cardinals.  Cambridge will need to focus on playing fumble-free football to get in scoring position against the Greyhounds.  Pope has won its last 2 games with the help of two strong running backs, including Junior Ronald Woods who racked up 187 yards rushing in the game against a young Northview team last week.

This will be an out-of-league game as  Pope is a 7B AAAAA team.  In 4 games, Pope has scored 72 and had 104 scored against them compared to Cambridge 16 'points for', and 113 'points against', in 3 games.

Cambridge comes into this game without AJ Campbell who is injured.

Come and support your Cambridge Varsity Football team at Alan C. Pope High School (3001 Hembree Rd, Marietta, GA 30062) Friday, September 28th at 7:30pm.
