Cambridge Baseball 2024 Season Baseball Tryout Information
The 2024 Cambridge Baseball tryouts will be held January 15-19. Please see below for important forms, player meeting information, tryout information, and registration/uniform fitting information.
REQUIRED FORMS TO PARTICIPATE IN TRYOUTS
All players interested in trying out must complete these 2 steps by Dec 10, 2023:
- All athletic participation forms must be fully completed and approved online via Rank One before your player can participate in tryouts. We cannot make any exceptions to this policy. Note that physicals are good for one calendar year and must be valid throughout the entire baseball season. - All players interested in trying out need to fill out this interested player form: 2023-2024 Interested Player Form (google.com)
MANDATORY PLAYER MEETING
There will be a mandatory player meeting on Wednesday, January 10th in Room 1.439 at 7:40 am.
2024 CAMBRIDGE BASEBALL TRYOUT INFORMATION
- Per GHSA rules, all players must be fully approved in Rank One before attending tryouts. If your athletic forms aren't approved, you will be sent home.
- Contact Coach Tieles (TielesE@fultonschools.org) for an alternate tryout opportunity if you cannot attend tryouts for any reason.
- Any changes to the tryout schedule will be communicated via Remind and email.
- Tryouts are limited to coach and athlete attendance only please.
2024 TRYOUT SCHEDULE:
Monday, January 15th
- Freshman: 10 am - 1:30 pm
- Sophomore- Seniors: 2 - 6:30 pm
Tuesday, January 16th
- Freshman: 3:30 - 5:20 pm
- Sophomore-Seniors: 5:30 - 7:30 pm
Wednesday, January 17th
- Freshman: 4:00-5:30
- Sophomore - Seniors: 5:30-7:00
Thursday, January 18th:
- Freshman: 4:00 - 6:00 pm
- Sophomore-Seniors: 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Friday, January 19th:
- Freshman: 4:00 - 4:45 pm
- Sophomore-Seniors: 4:45- 5:45 pm
- All Grades: Individual Player Meetings start at 6 pm. All players who make the team must register online by 8pm on Jan. 19th, an email with registration instructions will be sent out once all player meetings are completed.
Every player should bring:
- Hat
- Cleats and Tennis/Turf Shoes
- Baseball Pants
- Water
- All Equipment, including glove, bat, etc.
MANDATORY REGISTRATION/UNIFORM FITTING
You must submit your online baseball registration through the Pickle Juice system AND pay your player participation fee to CHS through the OSP system by 8PM on January 19th. Registration instructions will be emailed the evening of January 19th after all player meetings are completed.
Mandatory Player Registration/Uniform Fitting will be held Saturday, January 20th inside Cambridge High School in the main gym hallway. Please enter on the left side of the school.
- Varsity: 9:00 am, with a light practice immediately following
- JV: 9:30 am-11:00 am, no practice following
