Cambridge Baseball 2023 Season Baseball Tryout Information
The 2023 Cambridge Baseball tryouts will be held January 9-13. Please see below for important forms, player meeting information, tryout information, and registration/uniform fitting information.
REQUIRED FORMS TO PARTICIPATE IN TRYOUTS
All players interested in trying out must complete these 2 steps by Dec 10, 2022:
- All athletic participation forms must be fully completed and approved online via DragonFly before your player can participate in tryouts. We cannot make any exceptions to this policy. Note that physicals are good for one calendar year and must be valid throughout the entire baseball season. MANDATORY PLAYER MEETING
There will be a mandatory player meeting on Thursday, January 5th in Room 1.438 at 7:45 am.
2023 CAMBRIDGE BASEBALL TRYOUT INFORMATION

Per GHSA rules, all players must be fully approved in DragonFly before attending tryouts. If your athletic forms aren't approved, you will be sent home.

Contact Coach Tieles (TielesE@fultonschools.org) for an alternate tryout opportunity if you cannot attend tryouts for any reason.

The tryout schedule is contingent upon weather cooperation. Any changes will be communicated via Remind and email.

Tryouts are limited to coach and athlete attendance only please.
2023 TRYOUT SCHEDULE:
Monday, January 9th, Tuesday, January 10th, Wednesday, January 11th:
- Freshman: 4:00- 5:30 pm
- Sophomore-Seniors: 5:30 - 7:30 pm
Thursday, January 12th (**Updated**):
- Cancelled due to the County canceling all after school activities due to weather
Friday, January 13th (**Updated**):
- Juniors & Seniors: 6:45 AM Indoor
- Freshman & Sophomores: 3:45 PM/ASAP after school
- All Grades: Individual Player Meetings start at 4:30 pm.
- All players who make the team must register online by 7:30pm on Jan. 13th, an email with registration instructions will be sent out after all player meetings are completed.
Every player should bring:
- Hat
- Cleats and Tennis/Turf Shoes
- Baseball Pants
- Water
- All Equipment, including glove, bat, etc.
MANDATORY REGISTRATION/UNIFORM FITTING
You must submit your online baseball registration through the Pickle Juice system AND pay your player participation fee to CHS through the OSP system by 9PM on January 13th. Registration instructions will be emailed the evening of January 13th after all player meetings are completed.
Mandatory Player Registration/Uniform Fitting will be held Saturday, Jan 14th inside Cambridge High School in the main gym hallway. Please enter on the left side of the school.
- Varsity: 9:00 am, with a light practice immediately following
- JV: 9:45 am-11:00 am, no practice following
