Due to the weather, the tryout schedule for Monday, Jan. 17th is changing:
Monday, January 17th:
We need all players to bring turf shoes/running shoes to use in the hitting facility, and either the same shoes or molded cleats to wear onto the football field. No metal spikes!
Freshman: 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Sophomore-Seniors: 2:00 pm - 4:00pm

Required Athletic Participation Forms and Interested Player Form
All players interested in trying out must complete these 2 steps by Jan 7, 2022:
- All athletic participation forms must be fully completed and approved by the Athletic Director online via DragonFly before your player can participate in tryouts. We cannot make any exceptions to this policy. Note that physicals are good for one calendar year and must be valid throughout the entire baseball season.These forms and more information can be found at https://www.cambridgebears.com/insideathletics/forms/index

Mandatory Player Meeting
There will be a mandatory player meeting for all players on Tuesday, January 11th in Room 1.439 at 7:50 am.
2022 Cambridge Baseball Tryout Schedule
Per GHSA rules, all players must be fully approved in DragonFly (green and says 2021 Ready) before attending tryouts. If your forms aren't approved, you will be sent home from tryouts.
Important: If your player is sick in any way, especially showing any Covid-19 symptoms, do not come to tryouts. If anyone in your house is awaiting a Covid test result, please don't send your player to tryouts. Contact Coach Tieles (TielesE@fultonschools.org) for an alternate tryout opportunity if you cannot attend tryouts for any reason. All players must wear masks and they cannot enter the hitting facility or shed until after they have passed the daily covid screening test. Please meet outside the hitting facility door, where you met for morning conditioning, for temperature screening. The hitting facility locker room is closed during tryouts, so everyone will need to use the shed to change. We need to limit the use of the shed, no congregating.
The tryout schedule is contingent on weather cooperation and the district's Covid-19 protocols. Any and all changes will be communicated via Remind, Twitter, and email. To abide by the district's Covid-19 protocol, tryouts are limited to coach and athlete attendance only, no spectators allowed.

Freshman: 2:00 pm-5:00 pm
Sophomore-Seniors: 10:00 am-2:00 pm
Tuesday, January 18th, Wednesday, January 19th & Thursday, January 20th:
Freshman: 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Sophomore-Seniors: 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Friday, January 21st:
Freshman: 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Sophomore-Seniors: 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
All Grades: Individual Player Meetings start at 6:30 4:00 pm. All players who made the teams must register online by 9pm tonight, email will be sent out following player meetings with registration details.
Every player should bring:
Mask
Hat
Cleats and Tennis/Turf Shoes
Baseball Pants
Water
All Equipment, including glove, bat, etc.
Saturday, January 22nd - Registration and Uniform Fitting: You must submit your online registration through the Pickle Juice system and pay your player participation fee to CHS through the OSP system by 9PM on January 21st. Registration details will be emailed the evening of January 21st after all player meetings are completed to each player and their parents so they know exactly how to register.
Registration/Uniform Fitting Schedule (Location)
- Varsity: 9:00 am, with a light practice immediately following
- JV: 9:45 am-11:00 am, no practice following
