The 2021 Cambridge Baseball tryouts will be held January 18-22.

Required Athletic Participation Forms and Interested Player Form

Please remember that all athletic participation forms must be fully completed and approved by the Athletic Director online via the DragonFly website before your player can participate in tryouts. We cannot make any exceptions to this policy.

Note that physicals are good for one calendar year and must be valid throughout the entire baseball season.

Tryout Details

All contingent on weather cooperation.  Any and all changes will be communicated via Remind, Twitter, and email.

Important message to all players:  No player can enter the hitting facility or shed/garage until after they have passed the daily covid screening test.  Freshman will meet at the third base dugout and sophomore-seniors will meet at the first base dugout.   All players must wear their masks until after they have passed the daily covid screening test.  The school is not allowing use of the indoor hitting facility locker room during tryouts, so everyone will need to use the shed to change.  We need to limit the use of the shed, so if you are a virtual student, please come to tryouts already dressed.  If you are using the shed, you must be quick, no congregating.

Monday, January 18^th
Freshman: 10:00 - 12:00 pm
Sophomore-Seniors: 1:00 - 5:00pm
 

Tuesday, January 19^th , Wednesday, January 20^th &  Thursday, January 21^st

Freshman :  4:00- 5:30 pm
Sophomore-Seniors:  5:30 - 8:00pm 

Friday, January 22^nd
Freshman: 4:00 - 5:00pm
Sophomore-Seniors:  5:00 - 6:00pm
All Grades:  Player Meetings start at 6:15 pm  

All players who make the team must register online in the Pickle Juice and OSP systems by 10 PM Friday night, January 22nd.  

An email will be sent after all player meetings are completed with details on how to register.

 For tryouts, each player must bring:
Mask
Hat
Cleats and Tennis/Turf Shoes
Baseball Pants
Water
All Equipment, including glove, bat, etc.
