Freshman Baseball Defeats Central Forsyth, Fall to North Forsyth and South Forsyth

March 20thJack Adler leads the Bears to 4-2 victory over Central Forsyth

Jack Adler powered the Bears at the plate and on the rubber Friday, March 20th, willing the Bears to a 4-2 victory over Central Forsyth.

Adler reached base two times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the third inning.

Adler was in control on the mound. Central Forsyth managed just two hits off of Adler, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his four innings of work.

The Bears staved off Central Forsyth as Central Forsyth was unable to match the Bears down the stretch.

Central Forsyth scored on an error in the fifth inning and a walk by #4 in the sixth inning. Unfortunately, Central Forsyth wasn't able to take the lead back.

The game's last lead went to the Bears thanks to a first inning rally that saw one run cross the plate on an error.

The Bears piled on two more runs in the bottom of the fourth. A ground out scored Jordin D'Aversa-Williams to get the Bears on the board in the inning.

March 24th Bears drop 14-7 game to North Forsyth

Despite Teddy Egan's 3-3 performance at the plate on Tuesday, the Bears took a 14-7 loss at the hands of North Forsyth.

North Forsyth's players combined for seven hits and six RBIs.

The Bears jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. A double by Egan, plating Connor Morris started the inning off.

North Forsyth never surrendered the lead after the fourth inning, scoring six runs on two doubles, an error, and a fielder's choice.  

March 26thBears fall 10-3 to South Forsyth despite Connor Morris's effort

The Bears built an early edge on Thursday, but Forsyth South roared back to steal a 10-3 victory.

An RBI single gave Forsyth South the lead in the fourth inning.

The Bears had the lead early, but couldn't hold off South Forsyth. The Bears were ahead until the fourth inning, but South Forsyth would not be denied the win, taking the lead back on an RBI single by #7.

South Forsyth was sparked by #7 and #25, who teamed up for three hits and two RBIs.

The bottom of the first saw the Bears take an early lead, 3-0. The Bears attack began with a single from Teddy Egan. The Bears pushed more runs across when Egan scored on a fielder's choice and Friden scored on a groundout by Matt Gustafson.

South Forsyth went up for good in the fourth, scoring five runs on a sacrifice fly by #25 and three singles.
