Varsity Baseball Shuts Out North Atlanta 17-0 Monday, March 16th

The Cambridge Bears beat North Atlanta 17-0 in six innings on Monday, March 16th at North Atlanta HS.

The Bears played small ball in the top of the fifth with back to back to back bunt singles on three consecutive pitches to Davis Dasher, Nick Sieverts and Crew Cohoes, setting the table for an eight frame.

Austin Weiermiller pitched a nice 4 1/3 innings. North Atlanta managed just one hit off of Weiermiller, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four.

The Bears easily handled Warriors pitching as six hitters combined for eight hits, 11 RBIs and 11 runs scored.

Jack Ferguson took the loss for North Atlanta. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked five and struck out three.

The Bears went up for good in the first inning, scoring one run on an RBI double by Brian Moore.

Cambridge pushed across eight runs in both the fifth inning and the sixth. In the fifth, the Bears scored on a two-run error, plating Davis Dasher and Sieverts.
