Congratulations to Sophomore Ashley Sechrest, the Cambridge Athlete of the Week!

Ashley Sechrest, a sophomore on the Varsity Track & Field team, earned a Region Champion title and gold medal in the 3200m run with an elite silver standard qualifying time of 11:15, breaking her pervious school record by 11 seconds. 

Ashley earned her Second Region Champion title and gold medal in the 1600m, setting a school and stadium record in 5:13. 

In addition, Ashley is the 1st Cambridge Athlete to win Individual Region titles in multiple sports. Her other region championship came in Cross Country.
