Congratulations to the Cambridge Bears Varsity Girls Softball Team ... the Cambridge Athletes of the Week!
The 2016 Cambridge Varsity Softball team finished its season with a 32-1 record capped off by winning the 2016 GHSA AAAAAA State Championship.
In the 8 games of the GHSA State Tournament, the Bears outscored their competition by an amazing 67-3 with 5 shutouts, including a 4-0 shutout over Creekview in the State Championship game!
The Lady Bears also won the 7-AAAAAA Region Championship, finished as the 4th overall team in the Georgia State rankings, and ranked 17th in the country.
Great Job, Lady Bears. You have made us all proud!
