Congratulations to Senior Ali LoPiccolo ... the Cambridge Athlete of the Week!
Ali has been the cornerstone of the Cambridge Varsity
Girls basketball team since the program began 3 years ago.
Her leadership and her dedication to the sport have earned her some
of the top honors at CHS. Ali will be forever recognized at
Cambridge, as she is the first female basketball player to reach
the 1000-point mark.
Coach Lesley Broadwell says she is the perfect example of a true
student athlete and the type of person whom all girls can aspire to
become and exactly the type of person Broadwell wants associated
with Cambridge girls basketball. Ali and her teammates had an
emotional season ending game last week against Cass, as she is the
only senior on this year's team.
We expect to hear more about all of Ali's accomplishments both on
and off the court as she will, once again, be one of the key track
stars this season before she closes out her senior year at
Cambridge.
