Congratulations to Senior Nithin Balaji ... the Cambridge Athlete of the
Week!
Nithin Balaji has been a spark for the Cambridge Bears boys’ basketball team. Coach Chip Flemmer says Balaji scored 21 points, 6 rebounds and 2 steals on Tuesday night in the 71-66 victory over Lassiter. “The statistics look great, but it was Nithin’s defense that really helped us. As the game went on, Nithin got better on the defensive end, and that was crucial in our victory,” Coach Flemmer explained.
"Nithin has been on the varsity team at Cambridge since day
one and is having a great senior year. He is averaging 9.7
points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steal per game. His
leadership skills are outstanding, and he is extremely passionate
about the game of basketball and being a Cambridge Bear," says
Flemmer.
