Congratulations to Freshman Taylor Greene ... the Cambridge Athlete of the Week!

Taylor "Taco" Greene is stepping up in a big way for the Cambridge Bears softball team. 

Taylor hit two home runs in the 13-0 victory this week over North Atlanta.  Coach Chip Flemmer says Taylor is only a 9th grader and is phenomenal.  "Taylor's leadership as a freshman is something I have never seen before in my 18 years of coaching.  She is the ultimate team player.  I want teams to try to steal on her because there is nothing better than watching our shortstop waiting for the runner to make it to second base, and Taylor making her throw which is so ridiculously fast and accurate."

Taylor and the rest of the Lady Bears are enjoying an incredible season.  They have outscored their opponents in the last 11 games 103-2!
The team will finish the season with an undefeated region record of 12-0 and an overall record of 16-2.
