Congratulations to Lily Valeo...the Cambridge Athlete of the Week!

Junior Lily Valeo is this week's Cambridge Athlete of the Week as she has helped her team remain undefeated in the region and is 10-2 overall this year. 

Lily's currently batting .430 and has had a great week with her glove as well as her bat. 

Coach Chip Flemmer says Lily has been crucial to the team's success, not only this past week, but during the entire season.  "To me, the stats are great, but with Lily, it's more about the intangibles," says Flemmer.  "Lily is a true leader on and off the field for the Lady Bears Fastpitch team.  She is a voice that the entire team respects, and she backs up what she says with her own actions."
