Congratulations to Freshman Keara Napoli, the Cambridge Athlete of the Week!

Freshman Keara Napoli has played far beyond her years as she has been a key figure to the Cambridge Lady Bears' softball success. 

Keara's dominant pitching this season has helped the Lady Bears reach the GHSA State Tournament for the 1st time. In the Region 7AAAAA Tournament, she threw TWO No-Hitters, against Riverwood and Pope...an outstanding accomplishment in a playoff atmosphere.

Head Coach Chip Flemmer says Keara has a drive and determination to succeed that is seldom seen in others. "She can not only pitch lights-out, but she has been incredible with the bat this season for the team. 

"Keara’s done a great job for us this season, but what I like even more is that she is still, so young, and we really don’t know what the ceiling is to her abilities,” Coach Flemmer added.
