Congratulations to Senior Maria Lay, the Cambridge Athlete of the Week!
Senior Maria Lay has helped her team to a 7-2 record so far this season. Head Fastpitch Coach Chip Flemmer says Maria has had clutch hitting, outstanding fielding and she has provided senior leadership on a very young Lady Bears team.
“Maria has solidified 2nd base for us this season. She is someone whom you can ask to do anything on the field, and you know she is going to get the job done,” Coach Flemmer added.
